Frequently Asked Questions

At Sunrise, your order goes straight from us to our assembly and warehouse staff, no middleman! When your mattress is ready, it is shipped directly from the manufacturer to your door. This means a fresher product, lower prices, a better overall experience and most importantly, a better night’s rest!
Generally, production time is one week. Upon order, you will receive an estimated time of delivery. We work to that date, however our mattresses are made fresh to order, so production time is subject to slight changes.
Spending money for a mattress protector may seem unnecessary. However, all it takes is one small accident and you will be glad you are using a protector. The mattress warranties can be voided if there has been a major spill or other damage that a protector could have easily prevented.
A mattress should be evaluated every 5 years. As our bodies and sleep habits change, mattress support needs can change as well.
New mattresses should be rotated, on average, every 3 months. You should rotate your box spring every 6 months.
The transition from a crib to a bed is a big step for children.  Due to the danger of injury from a crib, it is encouraged to switch to an adult size bed as soon as a child begins to climb out of the crib, or once a child reaches 35 inches in height. Most children move from crib to bed between the ages of two and three years old.

We would generally recommend purchasing our entire system, both mattress and foundation. But if your box spring/foundation is in very good condition, it should work fine. Your mattress warranty remains in place even when using your foundation/ box spring.
